Dear CNF REUs, PIs, Mentors and Staff:

Rob Ilic and I talked, and I want to send you all the basic schedule for the CNF REU trainings, so that if I'm missing something, you can correct me before it's too late!

2008 CNF REU Clean Room Training & Tool Trainings

Monday, June 9th
  9-12, Part 1 with Rob Ilic
  12-1p, New User Lunch
  2-5:30p, Part 2 with Mike Skvarla


Tuesday, June 10th
  Part 3's thru-out the day, 9a-till done.
    (Part 3 is a one-on-one, ~2 hours-long session, so it won't fill the intern's day)


Wednesday, June 11th
  9:30a and 11a, CAD Trainings
  1:30p -- half in General Lithography Training with Mike Skvarla / half in PG Training with Rob Ilic
  3:00p -- switch!
    (General litho training includes HTG, spinners, contact litho, etc)


Thursday, June 12th
  9-12, MOS training for Fred, Josh, and other non-REU users
  1:30-3:30, Stepper Training for Bri, Josh, Sarah, and other non-REU users
 

Friday, June 13th
  10a-1p, Oxford 80 & PT 72 for Bri, Jillian, Jose, Josh, Rachel, and Taemee


All the rest of the tools -- SEMs, CVC, WYCO, etc -- are pretty quick to schedule, and not needed till the intern is ready, so the trainings listed above are all that I am scheduling.  When you need the other tool trainings, contact the staff person directly.

(Remember interns -- start with "I am a CNF REU intern and I need training on...." for the best response time!)



Let me know if I'm missing anyone on the basic schedule.

(And just FYI: while the CNF REU are getting their tool trainings on Wednesday and Thursday, we will be doing the new user trainings for the non-CNF REU interns.  So staff time and clean room space will be tight!  Please be considerate and don't be late to a tool training!)
