2012 CNF REU TRAINING SCHEDULE

 

MONDAY, JUNE 11, 2012

 

PART ONE: Introduction to the CNF Cleanroom with Rob Ilic

9:00 a.m. – 11:40 a.m., All CNF REU Interns (dress for cleanroom)     250 Duffield Hall

 

12 – 1:00 p.m., New User Luncheon (All CNF REU Interns Arrive at 11:50 a.m.!!!)   340 Duffield

 

CAD TRAINING: Computer Aided Design Training with Alan Bleier

1:15 – 2:30 p.m. (All CNF REU Interns)                                       CAD Room, Phillips Hall

 

PART TWO: Chemical Training with Michael Skvarla

2:30 – 6:00 (ish) p.m. All CNF REU Interns                                            250 Duffield Hall

 

 

TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 2012

 

PLEASE NOTE: You must see the Part 3 video before meeting with your staff person, and your Part 1 and 2 paperwork MUST be logged in before you can take your Part 3. See Kathy Springer if you have any questions on your paperwork.

 

PART THREE VIDEO: Part 3 starts with a 20-minute training video and a short quiz. Meet in the CNF conference room at your group time, dressed for the cleanroom.

Group 1 = 8:15 a.m. | Group 2 = 9:30 a.m.

 

PART THREE: ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING: Meet your assigned CNF staff person in the CNF Lobby.
    The training takes anywhere from 60-90 minutes.

 


 

For all the following tool trainings, please tog up and meet the staff person IN the cleanroom AT the tool, unless otherwise noted.

 

ALL CNF REU:

 

General Litho Training with Michael Skvarla (Photolith Room); Group 1 = 1:30 p.m. | Group 2 = 3:00 p.m.

ABM & PG Training with Edward Camacho & Garry Bordonaro; Group 2 = 1:30 p.m. | Group 1 = 3:00 p.m.

 

You will come out of these trainings with the ability to login and use the following tools; resist spinners, hot solvent bath, YES and image reversal oven, all Hamatechs, pattern generator, and the ABM contact aligner.
