Revisiting Nanobiotechnology at Cornell:
Themes and Opportunities

Friday, January 25, 2019
G10 Biotech, Cornell campus

Tentatively 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Dear CNF Community,

We wanted to let you know that the Institute of Biotechnology and the Cornell NanoScale Facility are planning a joint 1/2-day workshop entitled "Revisiting Nanobiotechnology at Cornell: Themes and Opportunities." It will held on Friday, January 25, 2019, in G10 Biotech, on Cornell campus. The tentative proposed schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and includes talks, a poster session, and a networking lunch (for those who RSVP).

The goal of the workshop is to identify areas of common interest among the nanotechnology and biotechnology research communities, and to facilitate potential collaboration and innovation. We have not finalized program plans but expect some updates about capabilities at our facilities, presentations by several experts at Cornell, and then lightning talks to outline student posters on topics within this theme. The posters will be shown at a reception.

If you have ideas you are willing to share regarding the program or our invited participants, we would love to hear them.

Best regards,
Joss and Chris
