Directions to Cornell University
Directions to the CNFOnce you arrive in Ithaca, follow the signs for Cornell University. The easiest way is to follow Rte 366 East up the hill. (CLOSE UP MAP, CUcnf.jpg) Take Rte 13 into Ithaca and turn east onto Green Street / Rte 366 East. Follow 366 up the hill (you'll be on State Street, then Mitchell Street, then Ithaca Road, then Dryden Road -- just keep following the signs for Rte 366). After the stop light intersection where Ithaca Rd meets Dryden Rd, continue straight for one more block on Dryden Rd / Rte. 366 (you'll pass the Best Auto Repair on your right, a quaint old stone building). Turn left at the stop sign onto Hoy Rd. (Do not continue following Rte 366 here!) The parking garage is the first building on the right past the wooded area. Just past the parking garage is the Information kiosk where you can purchase a visitors pass ($10 for a full day) which is good for the first level, left side of the garage, and the outdoor parking area attached to the garage. There is almost always parking available. Once you park, walk back out onto Hoy Road, and continue to your right onto campus. As you follow Hoy Road, you'll pass a curved building (Rhodes Hall), a building with yellow panels (Upson Hall), and a building with blue panels (Phillips Hall). Hoy Road ends on Campus Road. Turn left onto Campus Rd. It is easiest to find us if you enter Phillips Hall here (you'll see the stairs and ramp on your left). Follow the hallway to the end, take a small hitch to the left and then turn right, and go through the double doors of the next hallway. You'll pass a small open area on the right, then take the next right, which leads you to a bridge across the Duffield Hall atrium. (I recommend stopping to admire the view!) Once across the bridge you enter Duffield Hall, and our front doors are straight ahead, on the left. Our receptionist will be happy to help you at this point.
Directions to the Duffield Hall AtriumFollow the directions above up to parking in the Hoy Road Garage. Once you park, walk back out onto Hoy Road, and continue to your right onto campus. As you follow Hoy Road, you'll pass a curved building (Rhodes Hall) and a building with yellow panels (Upson Hall). At this point, between Upson and the building with blue panels (Phillips Hall), there is a small parking lot, and a walk-way leading to several sets of glass doors. Through those doors is the Duffield Hall Atrium.
Directions to 340 Duffield HallFollow the directions above up to parking in the Hoy Road Garage. 340 Duffield Hall is on the third floor and diagonally opposite where you are standing now! So take the elevator or the stairs to the third floor, walk down the hallway (in either direction) until you come to the opposite side of the building. There is 340!
